I have been a hairdresser for 21 years. In Kyiv I had my own salon — a place I built from nothing, and where clients kept coming back year after year.

Then life changed: we left Ukraine and started much of it over in Europe. My profession, though, I did not start over. What came with me is 21 years of experience, my hands, a feel for shape and colour, and a sense of what genuinely suits a person.

This is my fifth year here. Cities, countries, trends and techniques have changed; the approach has not. I do not work from a template — I look at your hair, the shape of your face, your style and your habits, I listen to what you actually want, and only then do I suggest something.

21 years taught me the main thing: a good stylist does not impose. She listens, sees and feels. And I still love the moment when someone looks in the mirror after a cut — and smiles.
